| OVERVIEW
The Portfolio Management Group’s mission is to assist Arcapita’s investment teams and portfolio company management teams in creating significant value throughout the lifecycle of our investment. The team is focused on identifying value creation opportunities and then providing the support required to realize them. In general, the Portfolio Management Group supports Arcapita’s portfolio investments by:
- Instilling Arcapita’s core processes of Strategy, Operations and People Development;
- Providing Board-level support
- Assisting the management teams in identifying and addressing key issues.
The Portfolio Management Group is well qualified to deliver against this mission because each member has extensive leadership and operating experience, combined with extensive experience at top-tier management consulting firms. The core team is supplemented as required by individuals with world-class expertise in specific functional disciplines, as well as a cadre of selected and dedicated consultants with specific industry and functional expertise.
The Portfolio Management team develops detailed short and medium-term targets for each portfolio investment against which to measure actual performance. The team provides updates on the performance of each portfolio investment on a regular basis for Arcapita's investors and its board of directors.
